At King's Community Church everyone is welcome. Regardless of people's backgrounds or current circumstances, we are passionate about reaching out to our community, introducing them to Jesus and loving them.
As a Bible-believing church and having experienced God's goodness in our lives, we are also committed to reaching up to God together, meaning we're living lives that are constantly shaped by our faith in Jesus Christ.
Living a life for God means that life has meaning and purpose. We believe that God has an incredible journey planned out for us and we're devoted to reaching into our destiny.
OUR CORE VALUES
OUR CORE VALUES
All of our beliefs are firmly founded on the Bible, guiding our individual lives and the decisions we make as a church.
• Daniel 12:2-3 • John 5:28-29 • 1 Corinthians 15:22-24 • Matthew 25:46 • 2 Thessalonians 1:9 • Revelation 20:10-15
The King’s Community Church story traces back to 1951, when small, informal gatherings lit a spark in the hearts of local people and produced what would become the first Aberdeen Assemblies Of God (AOG) church.
The church grew steadily and in 1969 the congregation moved into a building on Aberdeen’s King Street, where KCC remains today.
At one point on the church's journey, however, numbers dwindled dramatically, with just four people attending.
A change in leadership in 1993 proved to be the catalyst for KCC enjoying a rich season and an additional 150 people joined, with the DNA of the fellowship being firmly rooted.
2004 saw a transition to current leadership and that team today oversees a truly multi-cultural congregation who have a burning passion to lift the name of Jesus high.
The church has become positioned as a City On A Hill; a bright light in the city of Aberdeen, providing a lively and inspirational home for around 1,000 men, women and children.
