Operation Christmas Child

It Starts With a Shoebox…

Since 1990, Operation Christmas Child – an initiative of the Christian relief and development agency Samaritan’s Purse – has been blessing underprivileged children around the world with gift-filled shoe boxes wrapped and packed by children and adults in the UK. It is now the UK’s largest children’s Christmas appeal. Take a look at this video and then read on to find out how you can be part of it!

Be Part of It

The idea is simple. You fill a shoe box with a range of gifts and then drop them to the Operation Christmas Child point in the Coffee Bar on Sundays. We will then ensure they are sent overseas where local churches distribute them to children, on the basis of need alone.

All boxes need to be handed in by Sunday 13th November, ready to be sent in time for Christmas.
